Reference rates for Civil Auto Liability market
On Wednesday, the 17th of May 2017, the Financial Supervisory Authority published the reference rates for the CAL policies.
The reference rates are determined based on information regarding policies and losses sourced from authorised insurance agencies since 2016.
According to ASF data:
- The reference rate for a CAL policy for 1 year, for people between 31 – 40 years, who own a vehicle with a cylindrical capacitor of 1201 – 1400 cmc, is 506 lei
- For legal persons who own a vehicle with a cylindrical capacitor of 1401 – 1600 cmc, the reference rate is 957 lei
- For legal persons who own a vehicle intended for load transportation, weighing more than 16 tons, the reference rate is 7314 lei
- For vehicles intended for demand responsive transport owned by natural and legal persons, with a capacity of more than 40 seats, the reference rate is 5616 lei

NAFA reimburses VAT amounting to 881 million lei
On Thursday, the 18th of May 2017, the National Agency for Fiscal Administration stated that it will reimburse VAT amounting to 881,20 million lei during the current month.
The payment was scheduled in two instalments – 11th of May and 31st of May 2017.
