PwC Romania announces that, starting with 1 October 2021, ten directors will be promoted within the three service lines of the company: Tax and Legal Consulting, Assurance and Advisory.
Alexandru Enea, Alexandru Gozun, Oana Stanciu and Andreea Bocioacă become Directors in Advisory, Andreea Negruțiu Director in Assurance, Anca Macovei, Irina Marinescu, Monica Todose and Mihail Boian Directors in Tax and Legal Consultancy and Codruț Vasile Director IT Global team.

Alexandru Enea has been working in the consulting business in the past 14 years, out of which 12 years in management consulting within the Romanian and CEE business environment. Alexandru is in particular specialized in the energy industry, but with important experience also in Retail & FMCG, Oil & Gas and Pharma & Healthcare.
Alexandru Gozun joined the PwC Moldova team in 2011 and has been actively involved in development and implementation of public policies, including those relevant for the European integration process of Moldova. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce of Moldova (Amcham) and the European Business Association (EBA).
Andreea Bocioacă is a Deals professional, with more than 14 years of experience. She is specialized in Business Reorganisation and Restructuring and has spent the past 2.5 years seconded to PwC London, where she has further developed her knowledge and expanded network, being now well connected with the Global BRS practice. She is also a qualified insolvency practitioner and is involved in TS, Valuations and NPL projects.
Oana Stanciu has over 20 years of experience in both strategy design and implementation of strategic business change in complex organisations. Senior strategist, with Financial Services focus, possessing a strong leadership and collaborative management style, Oana is a what-if thinker, passionate about working in organizations with collaborative cultures and challenging plans and environments.
Andreea Negruțiu is an insurance expert with a sound financial audit background. She was part of numerous projects in all financial services industries. Currently, besides audit, she is developing the local actuarial practice within PwC Romania, working closely with experienced actuarial teams within PwC CEE network and expanding her role on various non-audit projects.
Anca Macovei is specialized within the Indirect tax practice, having extensive background on Romanian and European jurisprudence regarding indirect taxes. She has almost ten years of experience in VAT issues, advising clients from various industries such as retail, IT, logistics, real-estate, financial and banking, manufacturing, automotive and aeronautics.
Irina Marinescu has more than 16 years of professional experience, of which ten years in PwC. She is specialized in the Global Mobility area, advising multinational companies on matters related to the taxation of their domestic and assignee populations including income tax compliance, international social security, tax equalisation policies and global payroll compliance.
Mihail Boian joined PwC in 2010 and developed an extensive practice covering various areas of taxation, but also public and civil law matters, leading one of the tax litigation teams of D&B David si Baias, the law firm connected to PwC in Romania. He is a Partner within D&B. Mihail is a graduate of the Law School of the University of Bucharest, has a master’s degree in taxation and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2009.
Monica Todose has more than 13 years experience in taxes, focusing primarily on transfer pricing. Between 2007 – 2018 Monica was the Director of the Advanced Pricing Agreement, Tax rulings and Mutual Agreement Procedure Directorate, within the National Agency for Fiscal Administration, coordinating all activities related to the issuance of advance pricing agreements, tax rulings as well as the initiatives for solving or preventing double taxation for Romanian taxpayers.
Codruț Vasile joined PwC Romania in 2009 as a Junior Consultant. In 2012 he became responsible for Applications development and Innovation management in PwC CEE, dealing with many projects related to rationalisation, transformation and automation of business processes and associated platforms. Starting 1 November, 2020 he was appointed Chief Technology Officer for PwC CEE.
