Wolf Theiss acted as legal advisor to Banca Comercială Română S.A. in relation to its inaugural issue of the RON 500 million 5.00 per cent Senior Preferred Green Notes due 2028 under its Multi Issuer EMTN Programme
On 14 October 2021, Banca Comercială Română S.A. has successfully closed its first issue of Senior Preferred Green Notes in amount of RON 500 million. The notes have a maturity of seven years and were placed with professional clients and eligible counterparties with a coupon of 5.00 per cent. per annum. The denomination is RON 500,000 per note. The notes are intended to be eligible for MREL (Minimum Requirement for Own Funds and Eligible Liabilities) purposes, based on the confirmation of the National Bank of Romania. It is expected that the Notes are listed on the Regulated Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the Official Market of the Vienna Stock Exchange.
