Ruxandra Ioana Argăseală to lead Piperea și Asociații’s sport law department
Piperea și Asociații, a leading full-service independent law firm operating in Romania, with a remarkable presence in the legal market for almost 20 years both nationally and internationally, which continuously provides legal services at the highest standards, strengthens its professional activity by setting up a dedicated sport law department, which will be led by Ruxandra-Ioana Argăseală.
The legal services provided in the sports law field consist of intermediation, consultancy, legal assistance and representation of athletes / sports clubs / sports associations / leagues / federations, etc. in all aspects concerning their activity.
Following the graduation of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and the passing of the Bucharest Bar exam in 2014, Ruxandra Ioana Argăseală started her professional activity alongside SCA Piperea & Asociații team.
În 2015 she graduated the ”Criminal sciences” master’s program organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest.
Following her knowledge and experience gained in the last 7 years in the specialized fields in which she was involved, out of the desire for professional development and motivated by the passion for sports felt since childhood, in 2021 Ruxandra Ioana Argăseală graduated the “Global Master in International Sports Law” master’s program organized by the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economia (ISDE) in Madrid, Spain.
Her thesis, entitled „Human rights protection in the context of sports disciplinary and arbitration procedures”, provides readers with a well-developed overview on the position of human rights, especially the guarantees of article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights – the right to a fair trial, within sports disciplinary and arbitration procedures, looking closely at the unique issues raised in this matter both at the national and european level.
The thesis was evaluated by The Committee as being one of the strongest seen in all editions of the master.
