Starting with March 1, 2022, Crenguța Florea and Ovidiu Șerban join the partnership and consolidate the management teams of the two main departments of the firm – consultancy and dispute resolution. Seven lawyers achieve next level career advancement.

Law firm Zamfirescu Racoți Vasile & Partners (ZRVP) announces the latest round of internal promotions following the evaluation process for the last year of activity. The round of promotions is part of the firm’s strategy to continue developing its teams specialising in key areas.

The newsly appointed partners are successful young lawyers who have contributed over the past years to the expansion of the firm’s client portfolio and the development of the teams they lead. Crenguța Florea is a highly experienced corporate lawyer and part of ZRVP’s consultancy management team, specialising in real estate and corporate & commercial law. As one of the most longstanding members of the DBO team, Crenguța joined ZRVP’s team in 2020 following the merger of the two law firms.

Ovidiu Șerban is coordinator of the civil law and family law practice of ZRVP. In 2021 he started The Child Factor, a digital platform dedicated to all legal aspects concerning family disputes and children’s rights. Ovidiu joined ZRVP 12 years ago and perfected his lawyer skills at the firm’s litigation school, contributing to the firm’s success with ambition, talent and dedication to clients and team.

The new appointments to senior positions recognise the important role within the team of each of the promoted lawyers, their professional performance as well as their business skills. Simona Oprea has been promoted to managing associate. Daniela Iacob, Alina Munteanu, Viorica Clima, Sorina Baroi, Diana Stoica and Mihai Băicoianu took a step forward in their careers and became senior associates.

Ovidiu ȘERBAN (partner)

Ovidiu Șerban is coordinator of the civil law and family law practice of ZRVP. A litigator with over 15 years of experience, Ovidiu specializes in civil and family disputes and currently handles, together with his team, over 100 mandates, mainly divorces with children, division of assets, international abduction, adoptions and inheritance. Over the last few years he has been mainly involved in family law projects and in 2021 he started The Child Factor, a digital platform dedicated to all legal aspects concerning family disputes and children’s rights. Simona OPREA (managing associate)

Simona Oprea has over 15 years of experience in the practice of dispute resolution, specialising in civil litigation and family disputes, tax litigation, commercial and administrative disputes.

In the field of family law, she represents clients before courts of law and specialized institutions, and advises on a variety of cases with a focus on international child abductions, domestic abuse, protection of children’s rights during and after divorce proceedings (avoiding or combating parental alienation, enforcement of judgments relating to minors, special protection measures granted by specialized authorities). Daniela IACOB (senior associate)

Daniela has ten years of experience as a litigator and specializes in labor law and social security disputes. Her current practice also covers a range of contentious-administrative and tax related work. More

Alina MUNTEANU (senior associate)

A litigator with over five years of experience, Alina Munteanu specializes in civil, commercial, banking, and administrative litigation. She regularly litigates complex insolvency and restructuring disputes and advises corporations and financial institutions with respect to legal issues arising in such procedures. More

Viorica CLIMA (senior associate)

Viorica’s main area of practice is dispute resolution, having experience of over five years in both corporate and consumer disputes. She advises national and international companies on civil and commercial litigation, and offers expert advice on dispute matters related to insolvency, enforcement, and debt collection. More

Sorina BAROI (senior associate)

Having professional experience of over eight years, Sorina Baroi is an attorney with a strong practice focused on dispute resolution. She provides advice on contractual disputes, debt recovery, enforcement and insolvency proceedings, representing mainly creditors – commercial companies or financial institutions – in connection with the recovery of claims in bankruptcy proceedings, but also in various disputes concerning the execution of credit or guarantee contracts. Mihai BĂICOIANU (senior associate)

Mihai Băicoianu specializes in public procurement, data protection and labour law and is part of the firm’s consultancy team. During the last years he has been mainly involved in complex public procurement projects, regulatory issues regarding the scope of application of the public procurement legislation and GDPR issues for Romanian and international companies in the field of public health, telecommunication, hardware distribution and for one of the largest hospitals in Romania.
