Budget changes for 2022.
On Friday, the 19th of August 2022, Ordinance no. 19/2022 amending the state budget for 2022 was published in The Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 821.

The general consolidated budget revenue increased with 30.3 million RON (6.2 million EUR); the general consolidated budget expenditure increased with 33 million RON (6.7 million EUR); and the budget deficit remained at 5,84% of the GDP.

Emergency Government Ordinance (EGO) on private pensions.

On Monday, the 22nd of August 2022, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection set for public debate the EGO amending and supplementing certain provisions on private pensions. [source]

Personal fiscal verification form amended.

On Tuesday, the 23rd of August 2022, Order no. 2117/2018 approving the template and contents of the forms and documents used in verifying the fiscal situation of an individual was set for public debate by the Agency of Fiscal Administration (NAFA). [source]

Crowdfunding law.
On Tuesday, the 23rd of August 2022, Law no. 244 regarding certain measures applying Regulation (EU) 2020/1503 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 October 2020 on European crowdfunding service providers for business, and amending Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 and Directive (EU) 2019/1937 was published in The Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 745. Fiscal procedure code amended.

On Thursday, the 25th of August 2022, the Ministry of Finances set for public debate a draft ordinance amending and supplementing Law no. 207/2015 regarding the Fiscal procedure code. [source]

 

EGO on paternal leave.

On Friday, the 26th of August 2022, Law no. 210/1999 on paternal leave was adopted by the Romanian Government. As per the amendment, the term for paternal leave was extended to 10 working days; for fathers who completed child care courses, the term was extended to 15 working days; and for fathers enlisted in the military, to 10 working days. Fathers shall benefit from an allowance equal to the salary corresponding to the respective period. [source]
