On Friday, the 30th of September 2022, Law no. 272/2022 approving Emergency Government Ordinance (EGO) no. 164/2020 supplementing EGO no. 57/2019 on the Administrative Code was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 956. The amendments pertain to donations made to the state that become private property, and the possibility of temporarily exercising certain public offices in the absence of a contest. [source]
