On Monday, the 10th of October 2022, the Ministry of Health set for public debate a draft Order amending and supplementing Annexes no. 1 and 2 to Order no. 443/2022 approving the maximum limits of human-use medication that is available in Romania and can either be used or commercialised by authorised holders and their representatives, medical service providers, and wholesale distributors, and of medication object to a contractual relation with the Ministry of Health, health insurance companies, found in the National Catalogue of maximum price caps of medication authorised to be sold in Romania, of generic reference price, and of innovative reference prices. Natural gas regulation.
On Monday, the 10th of October 2022, the Regulation on natural gas storage in the natural gas distribution system was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 984. The regulation is applicable only to distribution system operators and closed distribution system operators where natural gas storage is necessary to be stored in their respective pipelines in order to ensure a unitary and transparent framework on natural gas storage, and to establish the necessary technical conditions for distribution pipelines that are to be used in storage. On Monday, the 10th of October 2022, Government Decision no. 1227/2022 approving the National Strategy for forests 2030 was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 980. The national strategy’s objectives are as follows: to ensure a balanced integration of social, ecological, and economic functions in the management of forests; to reach a social agreement on rights, interests, and duties of interested parties and those affected by forest management; and to ensure the flexibility of instruments of regulation and control, financial aid, and those affected by forest management. On Tuesday, the 11th of October 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development set for public debate the Emergency Government Ordinance establishing a state aid scheme in the shape of a grant to agricultural producers who established crops in autumn 2022 and whose crops were affected by soil droughts. On Wednesday, the 12th of October 2022, the Romanian Government adopted a bill amending art. 11 of Law no. 122/2006 regarding asylum in Romania. Art. 11 of Law no. 122/2006 pertains to asylum in Romania, ensuring the rights of asylum seekers and avoiding their prosecution in criminal cases pertaining to art. 262 of Law no. 286/2009 re. the Criminal Code, i.e. illegal entry or stay on the territory of Romania.
