Minimum wage to be increased on January 1, 2023.
On Friday, the 9th of December 2022, Decision no. 1147/2022 establishing the gross minimum wage in Romania; as of January 1, 2023, the minimum wage will be raised to 3,000 RON/month, or 18 RON/hour. [source]
Caps on sports fines.
On Friday, the 9th of December 2022, Decision no. 1441/2022 updating the caps on fines provided by art. 89 (1) of Law no. 69/2000 on physical education and sports, respectively up to 15,000 RON for natural persons, and up to 50,000 RON to legal persons. [source]
