Installation of solar panels taxed at 5%

The interest rate paid on the mandatory minimum reserves established in RON/foreign currency.

On Monday, the 16th of January 2023, Informative Note no. 4/2023, Informative Note no. 5/2023 and Informative Note no. 6/2023  regarding the interest rate paid on minimum mandatory reserves set up in euros, RON and dollars respectively, between December 24, 2022, and January 23, 2023, as implementation period, were published in the Official Journal of Romania, part I, no. 45.

As such, the interest rate paid on mandatory minimum reserves shall be 0.08% per year for dollars, 0.70% per year for RON and 0.02% per year for Euro. [source]

 

Penalty interest rate for the deficit of mandatory minimum reserves established in RON/foreign currency.

On Monday, the 16th of January 2023, Informative Note no. 2/2023 and Informative Note no. 3/2023 regarding the penalty interest rate for the deficit of minimum mandatory reserves set up in RON and foreign currency respectively, starting with January 24, 2023-February 23, 2023 as implementation period, were published in the Official Journal of Romania, part I, no. 45.

As such, the penalty interest rate for deficits of mandatory minimum reserves shall be 5.25% per year for foreign currency and 12% per year for RON. [source]
