Surfing recognised as a sport.

On Tuesday, the 31st of January 2023, Order no. 49/2023 on officially recognising surfing as a sport was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 82. [source]

 

Measures on development banks.
On Tuesday, the 31st of January 2023, Ordinance no. 17/2023 amending and supplementing Law no. 207/2022 on measures for development banks in Romania was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 85. [source]

Health reform amendments.
On Tuesday, the 31st of January 2023, Ordinance no. 21/2023 amending and supplementing Law no. 95/2006 on the health reform was published in the Official Journal of Romania, Part I, no. 87. [source]

 

Criminal records requests available online.

As of Wednesday, the 1st of February 2023, criminal records can be requested through ghiseul.ro and hub.mai.ro. The pilot version of the application allows criminal record certificates to be issued for natural persons of Romanian citizenship who are not registered with the Romanian National Criminal Record Record System – ROCRIS. The pilot project will be expanded to natural persons who have criminal records, and for legal entities in Romania, by the end of July 2023. [source]
