6 months after the launch of the Mobexpert Credit Card, holders made purchases of over RON 10 million in the stores of the largest furniture manufacturer and retailer in Romania and appreciated the fast approval flow and the advantages of a premium card, confirming the increased interest in this product.
Over 50% of Mobexpert – Alpha Bank co-branded cards issued under the Mastercard logo were approved instantly in Mobexpert stores.
Almost 75% of Mobexpert customers preferred to use Mobexpert Credit Card to buy products from the General Furniture category – sofas, bedrooms, mattresses, living and dining room furniture – within the first transaction. 14% chose to use the card for Decorations, and 8% paid for kitchen furniture with their card. More than 2000 products were purchased from Mobexpert stores with the Mobexpert Credit Card within the first transaction, at the moment when the client applied for the card, most customers preferring to also purchase the transport and assembly services, using the card’s benefit of 50% discount.
In addition to Mobexpert product purchases, the co-branded cards were also used in electronics and home appliances, clothing and footwear or do-it-yourself (DIY) stores and for everyday shopping at the supermarket.

Through the Mobexpert Credit Card, the retailer’s customers benefit from up to 36 interest-free installments for purchases in Mobexpert stores or online on www.mobexpert.ro. Customers can also enjoy unique advantages, such as a 10% discount on Mobexpert products that do not benefit from other discounts or a 50% discount on the price of Door to Door and Premium delivery services (furniture and kitchens). These benefits are complemented by free and unlimited access to the lounges of the Henri Coanda International Airport and the Vienna International Airport, free insurance for online shopping and other premium benefits offered by Mastercard.
Mobexpert Credit Card is a Gold credit card, issued under the Mastercard logo, which is available at Mobexpert showrooms and Alpha Bank branches. The card can be used in Romania and abroad, for online purchases, at retailers and for ATM withdrawals.
