Emergency Government Ordinance (EGO) on passport, driver’s license, and motor vehicle registration services.

On April 21, 2023, the Ministry of Internal Affairs set for public debate the Draft Law amending and supplementing  EGO no. 83/2001 on the establishing, organising, and function of community public passport services, as well as community public services for driving permits and vehicle registration. On April 21, 2023, EGO no. 25/2023 amending and supplementing  EGO no. 83/2000 on the organisation and operation of private practice offices for public services related to medical acts was published in the Official Gazette, Part I, no. 339. [source]

Public acquisitions law amended.

On April 19, 2023, Decision no. 336/2023 amending and supplementing the Methodological Norms on provisions for awarding sector-wide contract/framework agreement from Law no. 99/2016 regarding sector-wide purchases, approved through Government Decision no. 394/2016 on the Methodological Norms for the application on provisions for awarding public procurement contract/framework agreement o0fLaw no. 98/2016 on public procurement, approved by Government Decision no. 395/2016, as well as the Methodological Norms on provisions for awarding concession contracts and service concessions from Law no. 100/2016 on work concessions and service concessions, approved by Government Decision no. 867/2016, was published in the Official Gazette, Part I, no. 328. On April 26, 2023, Decision no. 368/2023 establishing the amount, conditions, and mechanism for granting lump sums as per EGO no. 15/2022 was published in the Official Gazette, Part I no. 354; the aforementioned EGO on Romanian support and humanitarian aid to foreign citizens or stateless persons in special situations from armed conflict areas  in Ukraine.
