The KPMG Legal – Toncescu și Asociații SPARL law firm continues to strengthen its capabilities with an important addition to its Litigation Practice – Cristian Radu has joined as a new Senior Managing Associate, starting from July 2023.
Cristian Radu is a highly experienced lawyer, with over thirteen years of experience and an impressive track record gained in an international environment assisting large multinational companies and investors to resolve disputes through litigation, arbitration, mediation and other dispute resolutions.
As well as acting for international and local clients in administrative litigation cases handling regulatory compliance, regulatory investigation and regulatory challenges, Cristian has also worked extensively on commercial litigation, public procurement litigation, restructuring and insolvency, fiscal law and criminal cases with a focus on white collar crime. He has particular expertise in the energy sector and has worked closely on complex cases involving challenges against energy specific legislation or against acts by the energy sector regulator.
Cristian’s other professional activity has included regularly participating as an arbitrator in civil and moot court competitions for European and Romanian law students’ organisations, organising training courses for clients as well as pro bono work for various NGOs.
