Bondoc si Asociatii SCA has provided legal assistance and representation to one of the largest healthcare providers in Romania in a case which essentially concerned the manner in which paraclinical medical services performed under a medical services agreement were reimbursed.

The case involved issues pertaining to the application and interpretation of alternative arbitration clauses, the functioning of the Central Arbitration Commission, the determination of the beginning of the limitation period and the manner of reaching an agreement between co-contractors in light of the specific legal provisions governing the provision of healthcare assistance under the social health insurance system, as well as complex and lengthy evidence.

By its recent decision, the court has validated the interpretation and analysis proposed by Bondoc si Asociații SCA regarding these legal issues, dismissing the claims of the co-contracting institution.
