Zamfirescu Racoți Vasile & Partners (ZRVP) has been awarded for the second consecutive time the “Romania Law Firm of the Year” at the Lexology Index Awards 2025, held in London. The ceremony brought together more than 200 representatives from major international law firms— a standout event for the international legal community. ZRVP was represented in London by partners Anca Danilescu, Violeta Saranciuc, and Cosmin Cojocaru.

The award—first granted to a Romanian firm last year, also to ZRVP—reinforces the firm’s leading position in Romania’s business law market and highlights the team’s consistent results in complex projects independently assessed by Lexology Index. The country and state awards are presented to the firm that has performed best in research throughout the year in that given country. There are more than 70 countries and jurisdictions.

This year, five ZRVP lawyers were featured across eight Lexology Index guides—the highest number of individual listings obtained by any Romanian law firm:

Cosmin Vasile remains the only Romanian lawyer recognized as a Thought Leader in both Arbitration and Commercial Litigation—two global platforms that highlight practitioners regarded as benchmarks in their fields.

Conducted annually since 2005, the Lexology Index research relies on independent analysis of firms and lawyers worldwide, looking at the matters they handle, the complexity of their mandates, the structure of their client portfolios, and the feedback received from clients and peers.

This year’s edition featured more than 200 awards, of which around 60 were presented at the London ceremony.
