Can life be just a yearly line of holidays? Or is the concept of holiday nowadays wrong because we are able to see each other all the time with the help of technology? Why do we need holidays if we come back worse in terms of health than we leave? The concept of holidays has in mind the idea to rest and gain strength to go back to work for another year. Why do we need holidays if we come back completely wrecked, when it comes to health, from them? They actually ruin our life, both in terms of health and money. I need to take a loan to go on vacation, which is highly anti-financial. It would be impossible and highly unrecommended if my money wasn’t fit, as I explained in a previous article. It sounds awful to ask for a loan in order to go on holidays. Yes, it’s true, but if I don’t go on holidays, I am doomed socially and unable to have any conversation with almost anybody. There’s nothing to talk about most of the time besides holidays. If one starts a more serious discussion (no gossip), the chances of being labeled as an arrogant creature trying to show off are unlimited. If you start talking about art, history, well, anything that could make sense, the probability of never ever being invited to another holiday is immense. The reason is the fact that you make the other feel uncomfortable. It’s funny, they don’t feel uncomfortable that their knowledge level is zero; they dislike you because, yeah, you spend your time fueling your brain, not heating up the planet through technology. No one says to write scientific books during a holiday, but to come back from a holiday as stupid, or even more stupid, than you left is tragic, from my point of view. What is the problem with having smart conversations? Real knowledge keeps people away from ignorance, and it helps them to make better decisions. Yes, I know, it is considered dangerous to express points of view that are against the general tendency, but, at the end of the day, what is there good in a fake holiday? All people pretending to have fun, secretly hating each other or envying each other and being very happy if something bad happens to one of them. That’s the real point. The happiness of other people’s misfortune or mistake. To enjoy the bad things that happen to others because you are so cowardly as not to assume any decision in your life unless it is given by someone else. That is what I call a deadly holiday. Summing up, I can’t imagine something worse than going on holiday with fake friends, so unhappy themselves that, if there’s a glance/spark of real joy in one’s life, they wait until the return home to act miserably. They could be called criminal friends, and all those taking part in them are seriously mentally disturbed. The world is full of untreated mental illnesses, unfortunately. The opposite is going alone on holidays. That’s a big mistake, too. The easiest prey on the planet is a sole human being going on holidays. Going alone means you’re not wanted by anyone. The consequence is that you are weak, so if you want to improve things a little bit, you need to spend more on that vacation. You can get a nice table, but the favourites of holidays are big groups with lots of money; they get the best tables, and the best view and the best food. Yes, it is true that the best food is made in large quantities, so even history confirms that individualism hurts your stomach. Then, there’s the curiosity. One human being strolling around is like an invitation to make fun endlessly of that person, and everyone knows why that person is single. In front of a well-shaped human being, all the others will say there has to be a brain issue, because why is the person single? There has to be something wrong from a physical or mental point of view. That is according to the rule of reproduction of the species: you need partnership in order to create a new generation. From my point of view, this is the most important influence of communism: the fact that it wants to exclude singularity and individualism. Communism is based upon the influence of groups, the rule being that even if you are brilliant, you need to adjust to be connected to others. There’s no survival in singularity. I remember reading Ilf and Petrov (12 Chairs, The Golden Calf) and understanding how communism and high wealth can work together. One cannot be really wealthy or use the wealth unless being in a like-minded group. This is how I feel it is today. In the book, the main character chases somebody else’s fortune to become rich and manages to get it, but it is impossible, due to the system, to spend the money or to move the money somewhere else unless you’re protected by some sort of human organisational structure. So, it’s capitalism officially and communism unofficially. The world has changed so much in one or two decades that singularity is the most expensive status. Someone said to me once that evil plays as a group, while the good is most of the time alone, and it disappears very quickly. Life is indeed mysterious in its ways of action. Maybe the answer is no holidays for a while. More flexibility in work and no holidays. Nobody knows the answer, but the competition between capitalism and communism is still there, and something else shows up; it’s full of existential dilemmas. At this point, they are both equally attractive to the planet. And that’s a big problem! Maybe the word future should be redefined, don’t you think?
