The Order no. 99/2015 on establishing the authorization fee perceived by the National Authority for Consumer Protection was published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 203 of 26th March 2015.
The regulatory document establishes the authorization fee at a rate of 621 lei for each of the operations with precious metals and precious stones provided by the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 190/2000 on the regime of precious metals and precious stones in Romania.
The annual visa fee represents 25% of the authorization fee value in force on the date of endorsement, for every authorized operation. The annual visa fee is not refunded.
In order for the annual visa to be applied, the solicited natural persons or legal entities must submit to the office of the Department of precious metals, precious stones and Kimberley Process or to the offices where the specialists of the National Authority for Consumer Protection perform their activity in analyzing and registering the precious metals, with the proof of payment of the visa fee and with the documents mentioned in the regulatory document.
