The High Court of Cassation and Justice – Panel for unraveling matters of law – decided in its meeting from Monday, June 8, 2015, that admits the referral made by the Court of Appeal Pitesti – Second Civil Section, administrative and fiscal division, through the conclusion of 15 January 2015 rendered in file no. 7570/63/2013, and determined that: “The phrase” banking financial companies’ from art. 8 of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 79/2008 regarding economic and financial measures for economic operators, approved with amendments by Law no. 203/2009, as amended and supplemented, also relates to financial institutions, including banking financial institutions established as joint stock companies where the state is the sole or majority shareholder ”
